However, most of the high-quality red dates produced in Xinjiang today are mainly exported to dry products, and their fresh food sales are limited to a certain extent due to their inability to store and transport, and short shelf life.
There is little report on the impact of packaging materials on the quality of winter jujube storage. Today, we aim to study the effects of different packaging materials on the quality of winter jujube storage at the winter jujube in the Aksu region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Among the various packaging materials, it can be found that the winter jujube packaged in the special fresh-keeping bag has the smallest reduction in hardness, followed by the fresh-keeping bag packaging. The hardness of winter jujube stored after packaging with two kinds of packaging materials is higher than usual.
3. The influence of packaging materials on the corruption index of winter jujube during low temperature storage. With the extension of the storage time of winter jujube, the degree of decay of all treated winter jujubes is aggravated. There was no corruption after storage in the bare winter jujube field, and its decay index was lower than that of the packaging materials during the storage period, but the fruit lost the fresh food quality. The packaging material can better preserve the appearance quality of winter jujube, but the skin spoilage index is increased, and the corruption time is earlier. The special packaging material for winter jujube improves the good fruit rate of winter jujube storage.
