Beata Heuman and her team believe that a home should reflect its inhabitants—where they’ve traveled, what inspires them, and what makes them feel at home. Their design process is always personal, intuitive, and thoughtful.
Beata Heuman was born in Sweden and established her London-based studio in 2013. Known for creative and original work, the studio blends Scandinavian attention to detail with a focus on longevity. They take an immersive approach to designing all aspects of interior architecture and loose furnishings, drawing inspiration from both past and present. Their work primarily focuses on private homes in the UK, USA, and Europe, and they are gaining recognition for their growing portfolio of commercial projects, including hotels and restaurants.
In 2020, Beata launched her online shop called Shoppa, offering a curated collection of fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, handles, and furniture. All products are designed by Beata and her team and are available exclusively through Shoppa.
Beata Heuman’s first book, Every Room Should Sing, was published by Rizzoli in 2021. Divided into 10 chapters, the book explores key elements of her design philosophy and showcases one of the studio's projects in each chapter.
