Borealis Launches New Packaging Technology for Borpact TM PP

Borealis brings the latest BorprotTM polypropylene products to the film processing and production of the packaging industry. It combines good low temperature resistance, high stiffness, high heat resistance and excellent optical performance. Borpact BC914TF can be used in food packaging, stand-up pouches, peelable closure films, and bottle label films, such as labels and modified air packaging (MAP) trays for meat products and fruits.

Borpact BC914TF is an innovative block copolymer for thermoforming, casting and blown films. Through a new combination of various properties, it can provide easy-to-handle, easy-to-use and attractive looking packaging. This latest addition to the Borpact family of products has the following typical uses:

Label films, such as Transparent printed labels on bottles: high stiffness, good transparency and impact resistance;
Food packaging, such as the printed wrap of fresh and frozen bread: high stiffness, sterilizable;
Can cook upright bags, such as fresh pet food packaging: easy to tear; FDA certification; high seam sealing strength;
Transparent thermoformed cups, such as ready-to-eat foods for low temperature or microwave food applications: Good low temperature resistance, transparency, and thermoformability.
