New Solution for Digital Inkjet Printing on Corrugated Cardboard

A new digital inkjet printing solution capable of full-color printing on a single piece of corrugated board, more than 10 times faster than today's inkjet technology. This is the so-called FastJet technology introduced by Sun Chemical. At Drupa 2004, Sun Chemical and Inca Digital worked together to demonstrate the technology to audiences using Inca Digital inkjet printers. The two companies also recently announced that they would work together to bring this technology to market.

This technology uses pigmented UV ink to produce high-quality color images through a row of fixed nozzles. The line speed can reach 100m/min, the resolution is 200dpi × 300dpi, the width of the printing material can reach 520mm, which is equivalent to 3000m2/h, so that similar products on the market are far behind.
