Similar to the diversity of printing platesetters, the diversity of the direct plate system is also dazzling. Currently, silver salt plates, photopolymer plates, infrared thermal plates, and inkjet plates appear on the market. Four categories.
Silver Salt Plate
There are three types of silver salt plate materials: silver salt and PS plate composite plate materials, upward diffusion plate materials and downward diffusion plate materials.
The silver salt and PS plate composite direct plate material mainly uses the high sensitivity and wide color range of the silver salt emulsion layer to complete the laser direct scanning imaging of the plate material, and uses the excellent printing suitability of the PS plate to complete the printing process requirements. This kind of clever combination of the mature silver salt photosensitive material and PS plate technology to construct direct plates has caused a sensation in the early days of direct plates.
The printability and print durability are exactly the same as the traditional PS version. However, the structure of such a plate is complicated, and post-processing such as multiple exposure and development (fixing) is required, and the process is cumbersome. This is also the main reason why this type of plate material is difficult to achieve large-scale industrial application.
The upward diffusion direct plate is composed of plate base, silver salt emulsion layer and physical development core layer. After laser scanning imaging, diffusion development is performed.
The silver ions in the unexposed area diffuse upward and are reduced to metallic silver under the action of the physical development nuclei in the surface layer to become an oleophilic surface; the surface layer in the exposed area is still an emulsion layer and has good hydrophilicity. The plate base of this plate material can be either a metal material, such as aluminum, or a flexible polymer base, such as a polyester base, and in most cases, a flexible polymer base.
The downward diffusion silver salt plate is composed of an aluminum plate base with a good hydrophilic surface, a physical development core layer, and a silver salt emulsion layer.
After laser scanning imaging, diffusion development is performed. The silver ions in the exposed area diffuse downward and are reduced to metallic silver under the action of the underlying physical development core to become the final lipophilic surface; then the emulsion layer is removed, and the surface of the hydrophilic substrate in the exposed area is exposed to become the hydrophilic layer. This type of plate has a very high sensitivity and color range, and the printing durability is also very high, suitable for high-end commercial printing.
The blush brush is a flat brush slightly smaller than the honey powder brush. The tops of the bristles are arranged in a semicircle.
A good blush brush can make rouge easy and natural. Dip the brush into blush powder, gently shake off the excess powder, and then apply makeup. If the color is not enough, slowly add it. Can also be used as a powder brush or after-painting
