ADASA Launches Portable Tag Encoder PAD3500

ADASA recently introduced a newly developed portable tag encoder (reader): PAD3500. The product has a barrel structure that houses 500 RFID inlays approximately 1 x 4 inches in size. The PAD 3500 has a small, battery-powered card reader manufactured by RFID engineering firm SkyeTek.

Mr. CEOClarke McAllister of ADASA introduced the original intention of researching and developing PAD3500. The PAD3500 can work in any running system and has good compatibility. RFID system end users do not need to worry about whether they need to make changes to existing equipment.

The PAD3500 has a built-in wireless connection device to obtain the coding requirements for middleware or device management software for RFID systems. It is also distinguished from the warehouse management software. The EPC code included in each tag ensures that the tag information matches the inventory unit one by one.

ADASA teamed with UPM Raflatac, a leading inlay manufacturer, to improve and integrate the functionality of the PAD3500. UPM Raflatac's UHF EPC Gen 2 inlay and the new aluminum antenna OneTenna were used in the test.
