First, FreeHand software often encountered problems

1, jump picture FreeHand has the automatic update function of the image file, for the "sticker in" the figure does not work at certain times (such as when the FreeHand file is large). Therefore, when you change the image size, open the file check in the machine, and can not find anomalies, but when you export it will find that the position of the map has changed. Solution: After modifying the image, place the graph again or open it with a higher version of FreeHand (5.0, 7.0 or 8.0) software and check the position of the graph.

2. When skipping words in typesetting, they will encounter the situation of mixing simple and complex words. However, for certain characters, because of their different descriptions of the kerning and line spacing of simple and complex characters, word skipping will occur. The solution is to separate the simplified Chinese characters. Here is an example to illustrate: The traditional word "obligation" in the group of words "according to the nine-year compulsory education teaching materials" should be "righteousness", because the two fonts are mixed, in the "system" and "justice" There will be gaps and gaps in the middle of "and" affairs. As a result, there will be a phenomenon of "jumping the wording of the nine-year compulsory education textbooks". 3, grayscale map into a four-color map in the FreeHand software into the EPS grayscale (Grayscale), when the output will automatically divide the map into four colors, for four-color output, this will not be a big problem, However, if it is a two-color, three-color output, the problem arises due to the lack of certain color plates. The content that should have been gray has become other colors. The solution is to save the picture to TIFF format or convert the picture to CMYK, copy all the contents of the CMYK channel to the K channel, and then delete the contents of the C channel, M channel, and Y channel.

Second, often encountered in Illustrator

1. Be careful when changing Gradient in Illustrator. When you open two files at the same time, and both files use the same name gradient settings, if you want to change the gradient on one of the files, then the other file The gradient of the same name will also change. The solution is to only open one file when changing the gradient so that no other file will change.

2. Images hidden in Illustrator will not be visible if they are placed in other software, but will be reproduced when they are output. In Illustrator, hidden tools are provided to facilitate the production of complex layouts and then stored in EPS format into typesetting software. If you do not show hidden things before this, then there will also appear here. But when it comes to output, it will appear on the film, so when you put the EPS file into the layout software, you must first remove the hidden image in Illustrator.
