Correct use of water dispensers to prevent secondary hazards

In today’s offices and homes, water dispensers provide a convenient source of both "pure water" and "mineral water," making daily life much easier. However, as people become more conscious about health, safety, and overall quality of life, attention is increasingly being paid to the quality of drinking water. Yet, one critical issue often overlooked is the second-hand contamination that can occur from these very devices—the hidden danger of dirty water dispensers. When the water from a dispenser starts to smell, many people immediately assume it's a problem with the water itself. But according to recent surveys, this isn't always the case. The real cause is usually the lack of regular cleaning and maintenance of the dispenser. Over time, dust, bacteria, and other contaminants accumulate inside the machine, leading to poor water quality. Many people mistakenly believe that water dispensers are inherently clean and that bottled mineral water is already safe. They think that even if they don’t clean the device regularly, there won’t be any issues. However, studies show that even in a clean environment, the air contains around 4,000 bacteria per cubic meter, along with carbon monoxide, smoke particles, and microorganisms. These pollutants can enter the dispenser through the air and mix with the water, potentially causing contamination. Moreover, over time, microorganisms like algae and bacteria can grow inside the dispenser, leading to secondary pollution. This means that even if the water you start with is clean, it may become unsafe after passing through an unclean dispenser. To prevent this, it's essential to clean and disinfect your water dispenser regularly. In summer, it's recommended to do so 1–2 times a month, while once a month during the winter is sufficient. Here are the steps for proper cleaning: 1. Turn off the power supply to the water dispenser. 2. Insert a 5-gallon water bottle vertically into the smart seat at the top of the unit. Open the hot and cold water taps until the water flows out, then close them. Carefully remove the bottle. 3. Clean the exterior of the dispenser and the smart seat thoroughly. 4. Pour 600ml of specialized cleaning and disinfecting solution into the water reservoir. 5. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then open the drain taps (red and green) to flush out the disinfectant. 6. Unscrew the drain valve on the back or bottom of the machine to fully remove the disinfectant. 7. Rinse the dispenser several times with boiling water or purified water to ensure all chemicals are removed. 8. Tighten the drain valve and complete the disinfection process. Finally, remember that while some water dispensers on the market claim to have antibacterial properties, it's important to choose wisely when purchasing. Even the best models require regular maintenance, so don’t skip the cleaning routine. Taking a few minutes to clean your dispenser can go a long way in ensuring the safety and quality of the water you drink every day.

Wood Fired Pizza Oven

Wood Fired Pizza Oven
Wood-fired ovens come in various styles and sizes, ranging from portable outdoor ovens to large, built-in units found in restaurant kitchens. Despite advancements in technology, the fundamental principle of using burning wood to create even, high temperatures for baking remains consistent over the centuries.
Wood-fired ovens are specifically designed for cooking pizzas using wood as the primary heat source. The wood fire heats up the bricks inside the oven, providing the perfect cooking surface for the pizza.
These ovens typically use dried hardwoods like maple, oak, hickory, and walnut to generate optimal flames and smoke. These hardwoods burn cleanly and impart excellent flavors to the food.
Once the wood-fired oven reaches full temperature, pizzas are cooked at incredibly high temperatures, ranging from 750° to 850° Fahrenheit. This intense heat allows pizzas to cook in a rapid 2 to 3 minutes, resulting in a charred crust that adds to the flavor profile.
