Chongqing, People's Daily, August 26th, Chongqing Municipality Sports Bureau released a message yesterday that the 14th International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open of the 2016 Fairy Mountain Cup will be held on September 8th in Wulong County, Chongqing. At that time, 23 top-level outdoor sports teams from home and abroad will gather in Wulong to compete in the World Natural Heritage, the National 5A-class tourist attraction San Francisco, Fairy Mountain, Longshui Gap, Furong Cave, Wujiang Gallery, and Baima Mountain.
It is reported that this open competition was hosted by the Mountain Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, the Chongqing Tourism Bureau, and the Wulong County People's Government, and was organized by Chongqing Wulong Karst (Group) Company. The Open will be kicked off at 9:00 AM on September 5th in Fairy Mountain National Tourism Resort. A total of 23 teams including 15 overseas sports teams and 8 domestic sports teams will be held on September 3rd. The Japanese Communist Party fought fiercely within 6 days.
The competition will begin with a 11-kilometer race and four qualifying races, followed by a three-day official match.
The first day of the official game (September 6th): The starting point is the Furong Cave parking lot in Jiangkou Town, and the terminal is Sanhekou Pier. The total schedule is 58 kilometers. The fastest time is 346 minutes. 4 alternate stations are set up.
The next day (September 7th): The starting point is Wulong County Century Plaza, and the terminal is Huangpi Township. The total schedule is 74.5 kilometers. The fastest time is 292 minutes. 5 alternate stations are set up.
The third day (September 8th): Beginning Fairy Hill Town Ginkgo Parking Lot, the end of the natural Sanqiao Bridge parking lot, with a total schedule of 56 kilometers, 368 minutes, set up 4 alternate stations.
It is understood that this Open set up a special competition organizing committee and hired William Pitt, a German outdoor sports placement expert, as the technical consultant for the competition. The 14th Outdoor Sports Open Command was set up, which consists of an office, a competition working group, an advocacy team, a TV live working group, a logistics team, a land security team, a water security team, a medical and health team, Ten working groups such as the Forest Fire Prevention Team. In addition, the competition routes and projects of this Open Competition were all physically surveyed and designed by the technical personnel of the Outdoor Sports Department of the National Sports Headquarters' Mountaineering Center, and the race route and 11 competitions of 200km of the 14th Open Competition were finalized.
According to statistics, the China International Mountain Open Outdoor Competition originated from the 2003 Wulong International Mountain Cross-country Challenge initiated and organized by the Wulong County People's Government and the National Sport Administration Administration Center for Mountain Sports.
