French Cos fibel Innovative Packaging Company develops chocolate packaging for PP sheet

Cosfibel Creative Packaging of France has developed chocolate packaging for new polypropylene sheets. This is a re-sealable, reusable plastic case. It has been used to package Finesses de Chocolat chocolates from Révillon Chocolatier. Cosfibel company stakeholders said that in today's chocolate packaging field, the use of plastic materials is becoming more and more frequent.

Because of their outstanding transparency, people prefer PET and PVC packaging. Therefore, PET and PVC packaging containers are common on the market, but PP packaging still has a place in the packaging market.

The new product packaging is a drawer-type packaging container. Inside is a 80-micron-thick PP sheet drawer with two hollow cavities, each containing a thermoformed PP sheet tray for holding. For chocolate products, the outer packaging is a 50 micron thick PP sheet shell. The PP sheet packaging box is manufactured by Roskoplast, a subsidiary of the Cosfibel Group. The PP sheet housing is printed using a combination of two printing methods, and UV offset printing is used to print the full-color pattern of the package. In addition, screen printing is used to print a glittering visual effect on the outer surface of the package. The combination of these two printing methods produces a very beautiful package that is dazzling and has a striking impact on the shelf, helping to differentiate the product.
