China Education Equipment Purchasing Network News: According to Tsinghua News, recently, important progress has been made in the study of extracellular matrix elasticity-induced stem cell lineage differentiation funded by the Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology "973" project.
The project was completed by Du Jing, Yang Chun, Feng Xiqiao and other teachers of the Institute of Biomechanics, School of Aerospace and Aeronautics, Tsinghua University. The related research paper "Integrin activation and internalization on soft ECM as a mechanism of induction of stem cell differentiation by ECM elasticity" ( Integrin activation and endocytosis are a mechanism by which extracellular matrix elasticity induces stem cell differentiation). It was also published in the Proceedings of the American Academy of Sciences (PNAS) recently.
